NameFlow MCP Server for Cursor and VS Code

Add NameFlow's remote MCP server to Cursor or VS Code to find available domain names, check prices, buy within your limits and set up DNS from your editor.

Use NameFlow from your editor's AI agent to name a project, register its domain and point it at your deployment.

Cursor

Add this to ~/.cursor/mcp.json (every project) or .cursor/mcp.json (this project):

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "nameflow": {
      "url": "https://mcp.nameflow.dev/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Cursor shows NameFlow under its MCP settings; choose it and sign in to NameFlow when asked.

VS Code

Add this to .vscode/mcp.json:

{
  "servers": {
    "nameflow": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://mcp.nameflow.dev/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Start the server from the file or the MCP view and sign in to NameFlow when asked.

Try it

  • "Find three available names for this repo on .dev and .app."
  • "Point the domain at our GitHub Pages site."

See what the server can do and all tools.
