NameFlow MCP Server

Connect NameFlow to Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code or Cursor and let your AI find available domain names with real prices, buy them within limits you set, and set up DNS.

NameFlow's MCP server lets an AI assistant work with domain names for you: find names that are actually available, show the real first-year and renewal price, buy the one you pick, and point it at your website or email. It works with any app that supports remote MCP servers (Model Context Protocol), including Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code.

Server address: https://mcp.nameflow.dev/mcp

You sign in to your free NameFlow account once when you connect, and the app acts only for you.

What your AI can do

  • Find domain names from an idea. Describe your business or project in plain words; NameFlow's AI suggests names and checks every one against the registry, so you only see names you can register.
  • Check any list of names at once. Up to 50 domains in one go, or a grid of names across extensions (for example 10 names on .com, .io and .ai). Taken names come with available alternatives on other extensions.
  • See the real price. Every result shows the first-year price and the renewal price side by side, and flags promotional first years that renew much higher. Prices are in USD with nothing added at checkout.
  • Buy a domain. By default the AI gives you a link and you pay yourself on nameflow.dev. If you allow it, the AI can buy a domain straight away with the card you saved, within limits you set.
  • Set up a service in one step. Point a domain at Vercel, Netlify or GitHub Pages, or set up email with Google Workspace or Microsoft 365. NameFlow reads the current DNS and proposes one change with all the right records.
  • Manage DNS. Read a domain's records and propose changes (A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, CAA, SRV, or nameservers). Nothing changes until you approve it on nameflow.dev.
  • Keep track. List your domains and their expiry dates, and follow orders and DNS changes until they're done.

You stay in control

  • Purchases are off by default. An AI app can only buy if you turn purchases on for that app in your NameFlow account, which needs a saved card and a recent sign-in.
  • Your limits. You choose the most per domain, the number of domains a day and the most per month. Premium names always need you, and the AI also states the most it will pay; NameFlow buys nothing above it.
  • Charged only when registered. Your card is held, the domain is registered to you, and only then is the price charged. If registration fails, nothing is charged.
  • An email for every purchase, with a link to turn purchases off. A domain an app bought can be cancelled for a full refund within 5 days.
  • DNS changes need your approval, and an app can never see your card or your domain's transfer code. You can disconnect an app at any time.

Questions

Is it free? Connecting is free. You need a free NameFlow account, and you pay only for domains you buy.

Which domain extensions can I search? Hundreds, from .com, .net and .org to .ai, .io, .dev and country extensions. See domain extensions and prices.

Who registers the domain? NameFlow is a reseller; domains are registered through OpenProvider, an ICANN-accredited registrar, in your name with your contact details.

Can the AI spend money without asking? Only if you turned purchases on for that app, and only within your limits. Every purchase is emailed to you and can be cancelled within 5 days.
