# NameFlow > NameFlow (nameflow.dev) is a domain reseller with free AI name ideas and domain search. Domains are registered through OpenProvider (Hosting Concepts B.V.), an ICANN-accredited registrar, IANA ID 1647. NameFlow is operated by ChillFlow, LLC and is not itself ICANN-accredited. Prices are in USD. ## What you can do - Get AI name ideas from a plain-English description, or search a name directly. No account needed. - See first-year and renewal prices side by side. Promotional first-year prices are flagged. - Buy a domain: sign in with Google or email and password, and pay by card through Stripe. The card is held, the domain is registered, and only then is the card charged. If registration fails, the hold is released. - Auto-renew is optional and off by default. Turn it on at checkout or later in My Domains. NameFlow renews about two weeks before expiry with the saved card and charges only if the renewal succeeds. Reminder emails are sent before expiry. - Manage DNS in My Domains: add and edit records, or change nameservers. DNS is hosted on OpenProvider's DNS. NameFlow does not connect to Cloudflare or other DNS accounts. - Transfer out: the owner can turn off the transfer lock and get the auth code in My Domains. - NameFlow does not offer WHOIS privacy or proxy services. Payment is by card only. ## Connect an AI app AI apps such as Claude, ChatGPT and other MCP clients can connect at https://mcp.nameflow.dev/mcp. The person signs in to their NameFlow account (OAuth). The app can search and check names, list the person's domains, read DNS, propose DNS changes that the person approves on nameflow.dev, and get a link to buy a domain. The person can also allow one app to buy domains with the card they saved at NameFlow, within limits they set (per domain, per day, per month). Off by default. Then `purchase_domain` buys a domain right away: the app passes the most it will pay, NameFlow re-checks price and limits, holds the card, registers the domain to the person and charges it. Premium names and anything over a limit are refused with a link for the person. Every purchase is emailed to the person, and they can cancel it within 5 days for a full refund. Without the permission, the person pays on the website.
